The Umbrella corporation is one of the most powerful companies in the world. Unknown to the world, it's success is due to a secret underground lab where viral weapons are tested and made. A new virus that the company created escapes, turning hundreds of scientists into flesh hungry zombies. The main computer shuts down the labs for risk of infection. A special task force is sent in to shut down the main computer and quarantine the deadly virus. What awaits them is beyond ordinary procedure.

In the near future, the powerful Umbrella Corporation has a hidden research facility called The Hive underneath Raccoon City, where the scientists develop genetically engineered drugs for medical purpose and biological weapons. After stealing the lethal T-virus, a thief contaminates The Hive and the artificial intelligence Red Queen seals the Hive and kills all the staff. A woman called Alice awakes naked in a bathroom of a mansion without memory and soon a commando led by a man. One subdues her and another man called Matt, who claims to be a cop. Alice learns that she is a security guard with her partner Spence assigned to protect the entrance to The Hive and her memory will return in an undefined period since she was affected by a gas. The Red Queen had a malfunctioning five hours ago and had shut down the facility and killed everybody releasing a lethal gas. Now they need to shut down the Red Queen and restart her systems. They use an underground train to reach The Hive and the Red Queen asks then to leave the place. However Kaplan disables the Red Queen opening the doors in The Hive. Soon the group learns that the staff has turned into zombies and now they are under siege of the zombies. Most of the commando dies and only Alice, Spence, Matt, Rain and Kaplan survive. Now they need to find a way to escape from The Hive since the system will shut down the exits in a short period. Who will survive?

Alice

Portrayed by Mila Jovovich is the protagonist of the  Resident Evil film series. Also, she has superhuman abilities, as well as the use of various styles of martial arts and gunplay make her something of a superhero character.

Rain Ocampo

Played by Michelle Rodriguez.

She works for the Umbrella Corporation's commando force. Rain helps fight against Alice and her allies and injects herself with the Las Plagas parasite, making her super-strong and invincible.

K-Mart 

Played by Spencer Locke.

K-Mart survives through most of the film by hiding in the vehicles, although she does kill a few zombies. In a zombie attack, she is nearly killed by L.J. who has turned into a zombie himself, but Carlos saves her.

Clear Redfield

Portrayed by Ali Larter. She is a fictional character in the Resident Evil. Claire is the younger sister of Chris Redfield, an American special police officer who is a protagonist of the first Resident Evil.

Matt Addison

Played by Eric Mabius

 He is an anti-Umbrella activist posing as a newly transferred Raccom City police officer, who has sent his sister to work Umbrella Corporation to steal some information to expose Umbrella for illegal activity.

Becky

Played by Aryana Engineer is a clone of a young deaf girl, residing in the "Suburban Raccoon City" environment of the Umbrella Prime facility. She is first introduced as the deaf "daughter" of a clone of Alice and her "husband" Todd, a clone of Carlos Olivera.

 Red Queen

Played by Michaela Dicker.
She is a security programmer and was created by the director Paul W. S

Ada Wong

 She is a mysterious and ambiguous antihero figure,
working for the series' villains
but also helping the protagonist Leon S. Kennedy.



















Leon Scott Kennedy

 Leon is a rookie police officer
who arrives in the doomed Raccoon City
late for his first day on the job, 
only to confront a zombie outbreak first-hand.


















Jill Valentine

She is a founding member and key field operative of the paramilitary organization BSAA 















Albert Wesker

 Power-hungry, knowledgeable and infinitely cunning, he was a man who sought to replace the entire human race through mass extinction and forced evolution, believing humanity to be an evolutionary dead-end.
Wesker fakes his death, gains superhuman strength, speed & regeneration from an experimental variant of the Progenitor virus, and works alongside both Umbrella's mysterious rival company and their successors in the field of biological weapons development, TRICELL, until his ultimate defeat in Resident Evil 5.










Chris Redfield 

 He is depicted as a member of the special police force STARS, along with his partner Jill Valentine
